Learn to Play Golf! We want golf to be a warm welcoming sport for everyone. Whether you are just starting, coming back to the game after a long break or an experienced player, the Operation 36 model will be perfect for you! Our Operation 36 Program offers weekly group classes, two 9-Hole Challenges per month on the golf course and one private golf lesson (included at Rancho Carlsbad location only). Each class goes over the golf curriculum built into the program where there are 12 skills to be learned over 6 different ranks/levels.

9-Hole Challenges:
The 9-Hole Challenges are designed to get anybody on the golf course from day one! These challenges are the core of the Operation 36 Developmental Program, which helps students understand why they are learning the specific skills in class and let’s be honest, so much fun!
When starting in the Operation 36 Program, your first 9-Hole event will be played from 25 yards away on each hole (Level 1). If you shoot a score of 36 or lower, then you will move to Level 2 which is 50 yards away on each hole. This process carries over throughout all 10 Divisions in the Operation 36 program.
9-Hole Challenges are always held on the weekends at Rancho Carlsbad and La Costa (Winter starting late morning / early afternoon, Spring through Fall starting later in the afternoon)
We like to see your golf game as at least a 10-year journey, meaning it is not expected to shoot 36 from your any Level right away. It takes hard work, effort and time.
*An RSVP form will be sent out to sign up the week of each event*
The tee sheet for each 9-hole Play Day will be sent out a couple days before the event so you will know your exact tee time and grouping. The tee times will vary based on how many participants we have and what tee time block we get from the golf course.

Private lessons are only for students who purchased the full semester programming, not prorated pricing. For booking your program private lesson, you will use this link (also on our academy website under “Book a Lesson”) and book please book the lesson under “OP36 Program ONLY.”
